Frequently Asked Questions

  • Bookings can be made directly through the ResusLab website. Once your place is secured and payment is confirmed, you’ll receive:

    • A booking confirmation

    • Course details

    • Access to the required pre-course learning material (30 days prior to your course date)

  • ResusLab delivers high-quality resuscitation and emergency care training, including:

    • Advanced Life Support Level 1 (ALS 1)

    • Advanced Life Support Level 2 (ALS 2)

    • Advanced Life Support Level 2 Recertification (ALS 2 Recert)

    All courses are Resuscitation Australia accredited.

  • Courses are held at the University of Queensland Health Sciences Learning and Discovery Centre, Bundaberg West.

  • Your enrolment includes everything you need to complete the course:

    • Pre-course materials and eLearning

    • Experienced instructor-led training

    • Practical sessions and assessments

    • Certificate on completion

    • Tea, coffee, snacks (lunch is provided for ALS 2)

  • Yes. The online learning modules are mandatory. It is an RA requirement that these be done BEFORE the face-to-face training to successfully complete the course.

    You will receive access to these materials 30 days before your course date.

  • No. The courses require a hands-on, face-to-face component.

    While theory must be completed beforehand, attendance is essential for:

    • Skill stations

    • Simulations

    • Competency assessments

  • Your certification will remain valid for four (4) years, in accordance with current RA standards.

  • Certificates are issued digitally withing 5 business days once all course requirements have been successfully completed.

  • After the 24 hour cooling off period, the following applies:

    • More than 42 days’ notice → Full refund (less $70 admin fee)

    • 30 - 42 days’ notice → 50% refund

    • Less than 30 days notice → no refund

  • Course transfers may be possible depending on availability and how much notice is given.

  • Yes. Our courses contribute to Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and are widely recognised across healthcare professions.

  • If your preffered date is full, you can join a waitlst. We will let you know if a position becomes avaiable or guide you to the next available session.
